    Piles

Piles, also known as hemorrhoids, are swollen and inflamed veins in the rectum and anus that cause discomfort, bleeding, and pain during bowel movements. They can be internal (inside the rectum) or external (under the skin around the anus). Piles are commonly caused by chronic constipation, straining during bowel movements, pregnancy, obesity, or a sedentary lifestyle. While mild cases can be managed with lifestyle changes, severe cases may require medical or surgical intervention.
