    Cancer

Cancer is a group of diseases characterized by the uncontrolled growth and spread of abnormal cells in the body. These cells can form tumors, invade nearby tissues, and spread (metastasize) to other parts of the body through the blood and lymph systems. There are many types of cancer, including breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, colon cancer, and blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma. Early detection and treatment are critical for improving outcomes.

    • Unexplained weight loss or fatigue
    • Changes in skin, moles, or wounds that don’t heal
    • Abnormal bleeding or discharge
    • Chronic pain, especially if localized and progressive
    Types of Cancer Treated

    • Lung Cancer: Includes small-cell and non-small-cell types, commonly linked to smoking
    • Prostate Cancer: Typically slow-growing cancer affecting the male prostate gland
    • Colorectal Cancer: Cancer of the colon or rectum, often diagnosed via colonoscopy
    • Leukemia: Cancer of blood-forming tissues, affecting the body’s ability to fight infection
